Come and learn how to crochet your very own Hexi-cardigan
You’ve probably seen Kate wear her Hexi-Cardi around the studio… now you can learn how to make one for yourself!
Over 4 weeks you’ll learn every stitch and technique you need to crochet your own soft, cosy, beautiful cardigan. Kate has taken the classic Hexi cardigan design and refined it, so it fits every body, every shape, every size. You'll learn how to size it to your body and how to size it to fit other people.
Everything you need is included in the price.
A Clover hook and Premium, Rico Creative Chic Unique Chunky Yarns in gorgeous colours with 26 colours to choose from, (RRP £80).

This course is for those who have recently started crocheting, through to experienced crocheters who'd like to have a go at making a garment.
You'll need to know how to do a chain and a treble crochet to do this course. If you have never picked up a hook before, then take our crochet taster class first to learn these stitches and the basics.
Course Overview
This is a rough outline of what we'll do each week. Everybody will crochet at a different pace and that's OK. You will need work on your crochet cardigan a bit between classes, but it will be just things we have covered in the class that week.
Don't worry if you don't get finished in the classes, We'll be hosting some 'finishing classes' to suit you. Or come along to our Meet & Makes on a Thursday afternoon.
Week 1: Getting Started
Start the hexi panels that will become the main panels of your cardigan. Work the rest of the panels at home ready for week 2.
Week 2: Adding rows and joining
Next we will add rows to the back and sleeves, measuring and sizing to fit you. We'll work out in class how many rows you'll need so you can complete the rest at home ready for week 3.
Week 3: Sewing & ribbing
This week we'll look at how to add length. Then we will sew the 2 panels together. and learn how to create the ribbing on the sleeves.
Week 4: Bringing It All Together
We'll finish up by completing the ribbing, sewing in ends, and advice on how to finish your cardigans at home.
What to bring and whats provided
Hooks & stitch markers will be provided. We will send you a link with the colours to choose from closer to the date, or pop into studio to look at the options. We will be putting orders in at the end of December to ensure it arrives in time. If you purchase the course after this cut-off date we will have a range you can choose from, just not as extensive.
