Speckled bird printed crochet pattern

Speckled bird decoration crochet pattern. Includes details on all the colour colourways.  Designed in the amigurumi style and worked in a continuous spiral. It is a very clear pattern with lots of photographs.

You can also make a small cushion from this pattern if you switch to super chunky yarn. The bird in the last photo is almost 30cm tall.

Skill level: Intermediate – advanced.
Size: 11cm tall (not including loop) when using a 2.5mm hook & 4 ply cotton yarn.

To make the bird you will need:

• Scheepjes Catona, 4 ply, 100% cotton, (or other 4ply cotton yarn). This yarn come in 10g, 25g and 50g balls. You will be able to make 1 bird with the 10g balls, about 3 with the 25g and many with the 50g balls.
  Colour required: 115 hot red, 114 shocking pink, 130 Old Lace, 146 vivid blue, 222 tulip, 512 lime, 110 Jet Black, scrap (or black from your stash). Or choose you own colours!
• 2.5mm (US C/2)crochet hook.
