Learn to crochet these bright colourful fruit slices. You'll be able to make a few fruits in the class and will be shown how to make them into keychains or granny squares.
What to bring
You don't need to bring anything. Yarn and hooks will be available to use on the day.
What you leave with
- A selection of fruity slices!
- The pattern to show you how to make all the others fruits and how to turn them into granny squares and a bag!
This is an improvers class, you must already know basic crochet stitches - double crochet (US single), slip stitch and chain.
Your tutor - Kate Mccully
Kate is an award winning crochet designer, author and experienced crochet workshop tutor. She creates patterns and kits under the name Make Me Roar and writes patterns regularly for Magazine and yarn companies.. You can see some of Kate’s amigurumi crochet work on display in the window. Yes, that Kate, winner of Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas. Ask her. She’s humble, but not that humble!
