Learn to Crochet a Bobble Hat
This winter, crochet a bobble hat, in Style Craft Special DK, with this simple yet stylish design from designer Iron Lamb.

This project will take place over 2 classes: You get to choose your colours from the Style Craft Special DK range and Kate will have a range of colour combos ready for inspiration.

Week one: Starting the ribbed hat band and making the pompom. 
Home work: Finish off the hat band at home ready for week 2.

Week 2: Making the main part of the hat with instruction on how to finish at home if you don't finish in class.

- The pattern to take home.

What to bring
A 4mm crochet hook, everything else will be provided.

What you'll learn
- Decreasing to shape a hat
- How to create ribbing
- How to create a spike stitch

What you leave with
Hopefully a finished hat, but don't worry you'll have the pattern to finish at home. You'll also get a free cowl pattern to match your new hat!

This is an improvers class, you must already know basic crochet stitches - double crochet (US single), half treble crochet (US half double crochet), treble crochet (US double crochet), slip stitch and chain.

Your tutor - Kate Mccully
Kate is an award winning crochet designer, author and experienced crochet workshop tutor. She creates patterns and kits under the name Make Me Roar and writes patterns regularly for Magazine and yarn companies.. You can see some of Kate’s amigurumi crochet work on display in the window.
