Crochet a Pumpkin (kids)

Friday 31st October 2-4pm (age 8-16)

Come and make a fun crocheted pumpkin. This course is for you if you have already done a little crochet (you dont need to be an expert). We'll be making a beautiful pumpkin in this class, a fun easy make.

If you don't finish the project in class, don't worry, you'll get all the materials and pattern to complete at home.

Parents are welcome to stay, or you can drop off and pick up at the end of he session.

What you'll learn
Learn all the techniques to make this cute crocheted pumpkin, only 2 stitched needed with simple construction.

What you'll get

- Enough Yarn to make your pumpkin
- Stitch Marker
- Toy Stuffing
- Instructions to take home to make more pumpkins (You can use thinner yarn to make smaller pumpkins or thicker yarn for bigger ones, using the same pattern).
- FREE Drink (Fruit juice/water/ Pop)

What to bring
- You don't need to bring anything.
- Yarn and hooks etc will be provided.
- Please arrive about 10 minutes earlier if you fancy a coffee or drink, so we can get it made in time to start.

Your tutor - Kate Mccully


Kate is an award winning crochet designer, author and experienced crochet workshop tutor. She creates patterns and kits under the name Make Me Roar and writes patterns regularly for magazines and yarn companies. You can see some of Kate’s amigurumi crochet work on display in the window.  Yes, that Kate, winner of Channel 4’s Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas. Ask her. She’s humble, but not that humble!
