Charcoal and Acrylic Workshop

Come and try out this wonderfully effective, yet simple combination of just two mediums with Artist Kate Conway.

This workshop is for all levels and perfect for beginners. You need no previous experience to produce dramatic and beautiful results.

Using only charcoal and white acrylic paint, you will produce a striking painting ready to hang on your walls. What makes this workshop so much fun is that we will be combining drawing and painting - mixing two mediums and techniques together to create something strong and unique. 

You will work on A4 size format, but feel free to bring in something larger if you would like to.

YOUR TUTOR - KATE CONWAY
Kate is a Zimbabwean mixed media artist. She has a Master’s Degree in Fine Art, a B.A.(Hons) in Fine Art and an FDA in Fine Art Contemporary Practice. She has 25 years teaching experience and used to run The Drawing Room studio here in Eastbourne, before relocating to South West France, where she teaches for an Art Association and hosts Creative Retreats. Kate’s work encompasses a variety of drawing and painting mediums. She has exhibited in southern Africa, the UK, France and her work is held in Private Collections and galleries worldwide.
