Slow down, stitch mindfully and discover the joy of hand embroidery in this relaxed workshop inspired by the beauty of nature.
Inspired by wildflowers, rolling waves and the calming rhythm of slow stitching, this beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to the timeless craft of hand embroidery.
Using colourful threads, you’ll learn a collection of essential embroidery stitches as you create your own embroidered sampler, choosing from a delicate wildflower or calming coastal wave design. Along the way you’ll learn stitches including running stitch, back stitch, split stitch, chain stitch, seed stitch, French knots and lazy daisy, building confidence with every stitch.
Suitable for complete beginners, this workshop is the perfect introduction to embroidery and a chance to enjoy two hours of creative calm.
Guided by textile artist Zara Cosgrove, you’ll discover how simple stitches can bring nature to life in thread, learn a new skill and create something uniquely yours.
You’ll leave with your finished embroidery, a handy stitch reference guide and the confidence to continue your embroidery journey.
