Learn how to make amigurumi in this 4 week course.

Amigurumi is the Japanese word for 'crocheted or knitted toy'. It is a form of crochet most commonly used to create toys, as it allows you to create 3d shapes.

This course is aimed at those who have never crocheted before or are very new to crochet. In this class you will learn all the techniques to make crocheted toys (Amigurumi). Over the 4 weeks you'll lean the basic stitches and techniques used in Amigurumi by creating a series of more complex forms. Starting with a a simple ball then a chick or either a bunny, a jelly fish or a bee! You'll learn how to change colour, read patterns, understand crochet abbreviations how to work in the round and how to trouble shoot.

5 spaces available for each class.

Went to the recent beginner lino print workshop here and had a really relaxing evening. Well organised, great staff and a lovely place to spend an evening crafting. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Had my first crochet lesson this morning-such a calm relaxed setting and I can now crochet! It’s great to see these independent businesses setting up and sharing their knowledge with others. Already signed up for another workshop.

Amazing place for anyone who loves arts and craft or excellent coffee! Kate is incredibly kind and patient. The sessions are well designed and thoughtfully set up. The group sizes are perfect. Sociable but small enough that you can ask tonnes of questions as you go. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a dream come true to have round the corner.
