Learn how to use a sewing machine to make a project pouch with a zip. You'll be making a project pouch with a zip and lining, all while learning the basics of how to use a sewing machine. You'll learn how to insert a zip, making zip ends and how to add internal pockets.

To personalised your pouch you will choose from:
- a range of fabrics for each outside panel and  for the lining
- a range of zip colours

Upon completing the workshop, you will not only take home your beautifully crafted pouch but also gain the confidence and knowledge needed to create it again on your own.

All materials and tools (including sewing machines) will be provided.
If you need glasses please bring them with you. Tie or clip long hair back and wear closed toe shoes.

Customer Reviews

Went to the recent beginner lino print workshop here and had a really relaxing evening. Well organised, great staff and a lovely place to spend an evening crafting. Thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend.

Had my first crochet lesson this morning-such a calm relaxed setting and I can now crochet! It’s great to see these independent businesses setting up and sharing their knowledge with others. Already signed up for another workshop.

I really enjoyed my beginners crochet classes. They were fun and relaxed and I have learnt a lot. Kate is great, very patient & an inspirational tutor. She has given me the confidence to use the new skills I have leant to start my own crochet projects. I look forward to joining future classes that she holds.

Amazing place for anyone who loves arts and craft or excellent coffee! Kate is incredibly kind and patient. The sessions are well designed and thoughtfully set up. The group sizes are perfect. Sociable but small enough that you can ask tonnes of questions as you go. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a dream come true to have round the corner.

Came here for a linocut workshop - absolutely fab! The shop has lots of really cute arts and crafts for sale and they also sell tea/coffee. Highly recommend the hot chocolate!
