Sew a Project Pouch

You'll be making a project pouch with a zip and lining, all while learning the basics of how to use a sewing machine. You'll learn how to insert a zip, making zip ends and how to add internal pockets.

Choose from a range of fabrics to personalise your pouch and you'll leave with your finished project plus the pattern and instructions to make it again.

All materials and tools (including sewing machines) will be provided with expert tuition from Lauren from Taylor & Jenkins.

As you step into our welcoming and encouraging environment, you'll find that there's no need to worry. Our brilliant tutor, Lauren, is friendly, patient, and highly skilled, making the learning process a breeze.

Please remember:

• If you require glasses, do bring them along
• Tie or clip back long hair
• Wear closed-toe shoes

During the workshop, all materials and tools will be provided. You'll not only leave with your beautifully pouch but also with instructions on how to create more at home.

Your Tutor
Lauren, your dedicated tutor, is the creative mind behind Taylor & Jenkins, with her sister Caitlin. Together, they design sewing patterns, kits, and accessories while also offering courses both online and in person. Lauren's mission is to make sewing an enjoyable and easy activity, sharing her love for creating and assisting others in gaining confidence with sewing machines.
